Bellhop was originally created by Barber & Osgerby for the London Design Museum restaurant. The simple yet charming lamp, which draws inspiration from the shape of a Bellhop hat, translates into a versatile floor light using a mixture of modern materials.
The industrial concrete base gives the floor light stability, while the round blown glass diffuser is turned upward, to create a softly lit atmosphere. The diffuser comes in grey for the white version so to add a pleasing contrast while the lamp is turned off while fading to white when illuminated.
